• Carol Samaha was born in Khenchara- Metn, Lebanon, acquired a master degree in directing and acting.
• Her first professional appearance was in the year 1995 through the theatrical drama "Manzil Bernarda Alba” (House Bernarda Alba) where she played a starring role under the direction of director Michel Jabr on the stage of Beirut.
• In the year 1996 she participated in the play "Aachikat Allah” (Lover of God) for Nida’ Abu Mrad. She was marked by a striking presence and there was the first time when the public discovered her large, flexible and strong voice. This was played in the American University of Lebanon and then in the Musical Festival of Fans in Italy.
• In the same year, Carol played a starring role in the drama "AL Mouhajer” (the Emigrant), written by George Chehadeh, and directed by Michel Jabr, presented in the “Al Madina” theater, Beirut.
• She participated in the play "Toukous al Isharat wal tahawoulat” (rituals of signs and transformations) written by Saadallah Wannous and directed by Nidal Al-Ashkar. Carol stood in 1997 on the cultural arenas of the most prominent theaters in Beirut, Paris, Syria and Jordan.
• One of her most famous works during that same year was her participation beside Loret el Helou in the album “Al Nizam al Jadid” (the new order) of Osama Rahbani music.
• The year 1998 witnessed a new birth of the star Carol Samaha through Rahbani theater, where she played the role of "Theodora" in "The Threepenny Opera “Akher ayyam Socrat”(the last days of Socrates) presented at the Casino du Liban and then in Abu Dhabi, Syria and Egypt. Important to state that "akher ayyam Socrate" is directed by Marwan Rahbani.
•Carol played in the same year at the Mono stage the starring role in the play “ Hia fi ghiyab al hob wal mawt” (She’s in the absence of love and death) directed by Michel Jabr. The work is a monologue based on the work of the Russian Edward Radzinsky.
• The year 1999 recorded Carol’s first appearance through television series "Talbin el Orb” by Marwan Najjar. She also played a starring role in "Nora," written by Shekri Anis Fakhoury and directed by Ma’moun al Banna.
• In the same year she participated in "The Threepenny Opera “Imara men halzaman” (the Principality of this time) for Caracalla presented at the Baalbeck Festival.
• In the year 2000, Carol was watched in a TV serie entitled “Ismouha la” (her name is No) written by Shekri Anis Fakhoury, and directed by Albert kilo.
• This year also registered a significant step in Carol’s artistic route; song" Bi sabah el alf el talet” (in the morning of the third millennium) by Mansour Rahbani, that turned out to be a hymn due to its deeply humane letters.
• Carole Samaha has played in the same year the starring role in the Jordanian series, “Gardinia" for Faisal Al-Zoghbi.
• In the year 2001 Carol participated in a new theatrical musical work for Al Rahbani “ Wa kama fi al yawm al thaleth” (And He rises in the third day).
• 2002- one more cooperation with the Rahbani family in the drama "Abu Tayeb Al Mutanabi" presented at the Baalbek Festivals and then in Jordan.
• 2003 is a turning point in the itinerary of the eminent Carol Samaha as she has chosen to add to the experience of the television and musical theater, the experience of solo singing. Carol released this year, her first album “Helm”, (Dream) from which she filmed two music videos “Habib albi’ (the beloved of my heart) and “ettallaa fiyi hayk” (look at me) under the direction of Nadine Labaki.
• Carole Samaha won the same year, the Murex d’Or award of the best exhaustive artist in the Arab world.
• She participate, as well, in the same year, in the play “Moulouk Al tawa’if” (Kings of the communities) for Mansour Al Rahbani, which was presented on the arena of the Casino du Liban.
• Carole Samaha released, in 2004, her second album that was entitled "Ana horra”, (I'm free). Carol shot from this album two other video clips; "Gali Alayi" (Precios to me) under the direction of Carolyne Labaki and “Nizlit el sitara” (curtain down) directed by Selim Turk.
• In that same year, her song “Habib delwa’ti” (beloved of this moment) was selected to be used in the Egyptian film “Ahlam Omrina” (the dreams of our lives), directed by Othman Abu Laban.
• Also in 2004, Carol got awarded as Best New Arab Female Singer at the Dubai Festival of the Arabic Song.
• A third album for Carol was released in 2006 titled “Adwa’ al shohra” (the limelights) from which she shot the songs, “Zaaelni” (saddened me) under the direction of a French director Terry Verne and “Adwa’ al shohra” (the limelights) directed by Dyadmentino Ferrera.
• 2007 was a special station in the life of artist Carole Samaha when she gained the best album award for the work, "the limelight" in the Cairo theatrical Festival for the ART channel.
• The same year, and upon her own words, Carol played her most important roles in her... The Professor Mansour Rahbani brought back the feminine tournament to the scene with “Zenobia” where the starring role was assigned to Carol Samaha…. The play was launched at the studios city of Dubai and then introduced to Lebanon in the Byblos International Festival.
• In this year Carol returned to a screen role in the Ramadan serie “Hawwa’ fi al tarikh” (Eve in history) where she played the starring role of "Cleopatra."
• The importance of this year in Carol’s life was also due to her standing on the best theaters of the Arab world including Algeria, Tunisia, Jordan, Dubai and Qatar.
• Cairo Opera House opened its doors in the same year for Carol Samaha whom has been chosen to commemorate a night in the Festival of Arabic music.
• One of the highlighted stations of this year was her twice performance within the Festival "Nights of the Egyptian television," …None had ever been given such an opportunity.
• This year also witnessed her collaboration with the artist Marwan Khoury through a romantic duet titled “ya rab” (O Lord). The music video was directed by Terry Verne.
• Carole Samaha has become in the year 2007 an Icon for Pepsi World; she has also participated, representing the same company in the largest musical cinema movie “Bahr el Noujoum” (Sea Star) along with many Arab stars.
• In 2008 she launched three singles and shot them in music videos: "Yama layali" (lots of nights) directed by Terry Verne, “Majnouna” (crazy) then "Ali," directed by Salim Turk.
• In the same year Carol extended an invitation to peace through the declaration in favor of the United Nations – Lebanon, where she has been chosen by the organization to be the advertising face of Lebanon on the occasion of "International Day of Peace." The Ad was filmed in front of the United Nations building in Beirut.
• She pursued her tour of performances in Australia and more than seven U.S. states. She then sang in Canada (Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto). Carol also sang in Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon.
• Caesars Palace - Windsor opened its doors to Carol to be the first Arab singer performing on its stages, where one month after, performed the international star Celine Dion.
• The Canadian federal parliament in Mississauga-Brampton South has selected Carol to be honored. The deputy Navdeep Brains recognized her talent and her unique and rich experience of her successful itinerary that is still pleasing millions of people around the world.
• She won on the 2008 the Murex d’or award of the best singer and best duet song “Ya rab” with Marwan Khoury.
• Later on 2008, Carol was nominated for the MTV Europe Music Award.
• With the beginning of the year 2009 Carol will cooperate with the star of Gypsy Kings’ international group “Mario Rayes” in a new duet “leili leil” which is an Arabic- Spanish mix that will be shot in Morocco under the international director Simon Brand.
• Carol’s fourth album “ Hdoudi El Sama” (My limit is the sky) has been recently released.
• 3 newly shot music videos are now witnessing a huge success: “Ragaalak” (filmed in the Maldives Islands), “Zabehni” (Khaliji dialect) and “Ma bkhaf” (filed in Tunis November 2009).
• Carol’s fans all over USA, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon… have enjoyed her performances during the concerts tours she held this year.
