Syrian singer born in Aleppo the 14th of August 1988.
Shahed had her first studies at elementary schools of “Cortoba” and “Shahid Zakaria Ghobash” and then attended her high school educations at “Shahida Huda Shaarawi”.
Her talent began to emerge early at age 7.
Shahed’s school principle “Mrs. Loris Kozma” believed in her talent and sent her to the Vanguards of Ba'ath to participate in a competition for the children amateur. Although it was just an honorable participation due to her young age, she won the first place at the various governorates of the Syrian Arab Republic. Then, she officially participated in the same competition, and kept the first prize for 5 consecutive years.
1998 – Shahed began her musical studies at the conservatory of Aleppo, where she mastered the lute playing and graduated with a BA major.
- After graduation Shahed participated in several festivals and events in Syria and abroad.
2000-2001- She took part in the competition; children's forum in the United Arab Emirates and won first place among 21 Arab countries. She also acquired best performance award at the Festival Aurena.
- 2001 Shahed had a number of participations in major festivals and concerts of the most important festival of song in Syria, and had a part in the Syrian-Turkish Friendship Festival in Turkey.
- From 2001 to 2004 Shahed participated in the Festival “Mahabba wa Salam” in Lattakia.
-2003 Festival “Al Sawt Wal Soura” in Tunisia
- The Year 2006 is considered a turning point in her life when she participate in the program "Super Star" on future TV/ Lebanon and was elected second with the huge votes she got from Syria, Lebanon and various Arab countries.
- The Year 2009 will witness her first album entitled, "Baad elli Sar" including 10 songs where she collaborated with prominent names of oldest poets, composers and arrangers in the Arab world , such as the poets: Nizar Francis, Karim Iraqi, Hani AL Saghir, Ikram Al Assi, Mustafa Mursi and Mounir Bou Assaf, and the composers: Samir Sfeir, Khaled al-Bakri, Walid Saad and Nihad Najjar. She also collaborated with the major distributors of the most well-known: Tarek Madkour Mohamed Mostafa, Medhat Khamis, Tareq Akef, Jean-Marie Riachi, Kareem Abdul Wahab Fahed Tamim and Adel Ayesh.
